TODAY'S
WORKOUT
Power Storm Pyramid
Wed, 12 August 2026
38 minutes, plus 6 minutes with Optional Challenge
Conditioning, cardio and full-body grit
Kettlebell, with dumbbell and bodyweight options, plus mat if needed
Warm-Up
Main Block
Format: Pyramid.
Time Cap: 20 minutes.
Instructions: Complete the 7 exercises in order using a 5-10-15-10-5 pyramid where appropriate. For single-side moves, perform the listed reps per side at each step. Move with purpose, keep transitions tight, and choose a load that leaves 2-3 clean reps in reserve.
Beginner Level
Use a smaller pyramid of 4-6-8-6-4, reduce loaded movements where needed, and rest 20-30 seconds between exercises. Keep effort around 5-6/10 and aim to complete the full list with clean form.
Intermediate / Advanced Options
Option 1: Keep the 12-minute cap and use slightly heavier loads on the kettlebell and dumbbell exercises.
Option 2: Keep the same pyramid and aim to reduce transition time while maintaining clean reps throughout.
Option 3: Keep the order and rep scheme, but add a 1-second pause at the bottom of each Dumbbell reverse lunge to knee drive rep.
Optional Advanced Tier
Complete the standard workout first. Add this challenge only if you still feel strong, your technique remains solid, and you want the most intense version of the session.
Format: Density push.
Instructions: This is clearly optional. Accumulate as many crisp reps as possible in 6 minutes with short breaks as needed.
Finisher
Cool-Down
Duration: 8 minutes.
Instructions: Breathe slowly through the nose and let your heart rate come down fully before you finish.
Focus and Benefits
This warrior-style pyramid builds conditioning, core stamina and repeat power with a fast but manageable structure. The climbing and descending reps create pressure without needing complex pacing, making it ideal for a hard midweek engine session.
